Three Poems by Randi Ward and a Drawing by Jen May

Poetry

Drawing by Jen May

Teabag

How could
that little staple
inspire so many
hysterical hours?

Combat

A whitetail
clearing
the fence
before he can
fire reminds him
he’s dead.

Grackles

Convening
at the corners
of my eyes
to confirm
this life
sentence.
